Kid Reservation and Sales Policy

1. We will sell no fewer than 2 goats per customer. I do this to insure the purchased animals have a companion they can rely on when going to a new home.  Goats are a very social animals but may at first  be rejected when entering a new herd. They need a companion from their own herd.  Goats can be mean to other goats, so no exceptions to this rule.

2. All goats leaving my farm will have been disbudded and vaccinated. Owners and their children are often in close contact with the goats head, so I will not be selling any horned goats. A golden rule is to give goats C D & T shots. If you don't want to give this shot to your goats, please don't own goats.

3. We will sell only healthy goats from my farm. This does not mean when the goats leave my farm, the goats will remain healthy. Leaving their farm will be a very stressful time in their lives. We will not be held responsible for their health the minute they leave my farm. It is the new owners responsibility to now keep the goats healthy.

  • If your vet finds that the animal has some type of genetic defect, we will replace or refund your purchase cost. Vet must provide certificate stating that the animal has a genetic defect in order to receive refund.
  • For any animal that is replaced, delivery or shipping fees will be applied and covered at buyer's expense.
  • If for some reason you are unable to keep the pet, due to my herd being closed and biosecurity, We will not take back the goat.
  • A non-refundable deposit of $200  is required to hold the kid/adult of your choice for 10 days so that you may arrange transportation/shipping.
  • Boarding charges will apply after 20 days at a rate of $1.00 per day.
  • Newborn kids should be picked up by the time they are 4 weeks of age.
  •  All animals must be Paid In Full before leaving the farm. Outstanding balances will result in your animal being held until all debts are paid, including any boarding charges incurred. If you choose to pay by personal check, please allow 12 business days for your check to clear.
  •  If paying at pick-up or delivery, please note that payments must be in the form of cash.  We will not accept personal checks at time of pick-up/delivery.
  • I do accept PayPal .   Please contact me before sending payment by this method. All Pay Pal payments will be charged the 3% charge and should be included with your payment.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a sale without explanation and any deposit would be refunded.

4. Any goat will be considered still for sale until a deposit is received. The balance will be due in full before any goat leaves my property.

5. Goats are for sale until payment in full is received. Sorry, no holds or deposits.
You can send your payment through PayPal or money order. 

6. Buyer will be responsible to pick up or arrange transportation for their purchased goat no later than time of weaning, which is eight weeks of age. If purchased goat is not picked up or transported by time of weaning, or other arranged time, buyer will be charged a boarding fee of $5 per day. If a goat is not picked up on arranged date, and new arrangements were not made, the animal will be re-listed for sale and payment will not be refunded.

 Responsibility of the Buyer: 

  • Air/Ground Shipping costs; varies (if applicable)
  • Shipping crates;  Vari-Kennel type, costs vary by size needed, costs include crate purchase, rubber mat, food/water cups.  I will purchase the necessary items here and bill you for them. (if applicable)
  • Health certificates  Usually about $30-$40 for a basic Vet Cert. for 1 buyer, goat or group
  • Additional Testing; by request only or as required by your state - fees vary, For CAE, CL, Brucellosis, TB, and/or Johnes 
  • Transport fees; to shows or airport-based on Loaded mileage. (if applicable)
  • Any animal that is purchased MUST be picked up within 30 days of the deposit, unless other arrangements have been made.
  • If a bred doe is purchased she MUST be picked up  before the last two months of pregnancy or the resulting offspring will become the property of Hardy Taylor Sanderson.

7. We reserve the right to retain any kid born.

8. We can't guarantee an animals height, milk production, or show.

9. Please let us know if you would like to reserve any of the kids from our breeding schedule. Reservations are free to make. To place a reservation just message/email or call us.

10. We will message you within 72 hours of birth, if you agree to proceed with purchase, payment in full is required.
